HOW TO ORDER YOUR ALBUM FROM DESIGNED TO TREASURE
This page will take you step by step through the process to order your uniquely designed flush mount album from Designed to Treasure.
- Select the type of album (size and features) you wish to have created.
- Complete the on-line order form for your album.
- You will be contacted by a representative to provide you with either a private ftp upload link for your photos or if you prefer, the address to ship your high resolution jpgs on a dvd.
- Once your digital negatives are received you will be contacted in two weeks or less with a private link where you can view your album proof on-line. We will provide changes as follows:
15 to 20 pages-we will give 5 minor changes at no extra cost.
30 to 40 pages- we will give 7 minor changes at no extra cost.
50 to 60 pages- we will give 9 minor changes at no extra cost.
80 pages- we will give 12 minor changes at no extra cost.
Any minor changes over allotted amount or any major changes to layout will be made at a cost of $40 per page.
Once your changes are completed the corrected draft will then be posted on a private link for your review.
- When your design is approved and finalized your album will be sent through our proofing, printing and binding services. This final process takes approximately 6 to 7 weeks depending on workload.(please note there are always longer delays during the holiday season)
- The final album is then shipped directly to you.
Our rule of thumb for photo placement in an album is as follows:
16 pages-we place 25 to 40 photos
20 pages-we place 35 to 50 photos
30 pages- we place 60 to 80 photos
40 pages-we place 80 to 100 photos
50 pages-we place 100-120 photos
Please keep these numbers in mind when submitting digital negatives. We also ask you include a sufficient amount of setting photos (locations, flowers, cakes, place settings, etc…) for use as backgrounds.
